Shakarkandi Rabdi Recipe

Shakarkandi Rabdi is a perfect sweet to enjoy on any festival/winter day. It’s a gluten free or no grain kheer so can be eaten in vrat also.

Ingredients:
  • Peeled & Grated Sweet Potato - 1 Cup
  • Milk - 3 Cup
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped Dry fruits- 2 tbsp
  • Kesar/saffron strings
Instructions:
  • Heat milk in a sauce pan. Keep stirring it to avoid burning.
  • When milk get one boil, slow the flame and add grated sweet potato. Cook it til sweet potatoes are tender.
  • Add sugar. Cook for 15 minutes more. Keep stirring.
  • Add chopped dry fruits and kesar/saffron strings. Cook for 5 minute. Enjoy it hot.
